Training workshop

During July 6-10, IHS Romania organized in Bucharest a training program for the Institute for Urban Development in Chisinau, as part of the project “Good governance in emerging democracies: capacity building in decentralization and public participation in urban planning” financed by the Human Rights Programme of the Netherlands Ministry of External Affairs. The target group included urban planning specialists from the Republic of Moldova from public administration, private sector and professional associations.

The course general objective was the understanding of modern concepts of planning and public participation, in order to apply them in urban development practice.
