Romanian National Strategy for Territorial Development – closing conference

On the 21^st of November 2014 MRDPA has organized the closing conference of the project “Development of the instruments and models for strategic territorial planning in support of the programing period post 2013”.

The objective of the event was to present the results obtained within the project: Romanian National Strategy for Territorial Development, in which the vision for the development of the national territory in 2035, general and specific objectives of development, territorial measures, actions and projects and measures concerning the implementation and monitoring strategy were set out.

From IHS Rotterdam and IHS Romania, Carley Pennink and Nicolae Taralunga (as the main coordinator of the Romanian National Territorial Development Strategy) have presented their key conclusions and recommendations after the final review of the document.

The strategy can be accessed on the www.sdtr.ro website, under the “public consultation” section. Proposals for improvement can be submitted until December 19^th 2014 to delia.popa@mdrap.ro.
