Tbilisi City Development Strategy

IHS Romania has completed, in partnership with IHS/Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Tbilisi (Georgia) Development Strategy for Sustainable Development, project financially supported by the Cities Alliance Program, the World Bank, UNDP, GTZ.

The Development Strategy 2030 is based on cultural and economic assets, allowing new initiatives and ideas to come and contribute to the future activities. The strategy defined the city’s vision, mid-to-long term objectives, and identified the city’s highest priorities and investment needs. The CDS process represented a good opportunity to create a sustainable mechanism for stakeholders’ consultation in sustainable urban development.
