Training programs with traditional partners

Training program and workshop to access Structural Funds on ROP, priority axis 1, in partnership with the Regional Training Centre for Local Public Administration, Craiova

The program includes two days presentations/debated on the requirements of the Application Guide ROP 2007-2013, priority axis 1, and three days workshop focusing on (1) defining the urban action area and formulating the Integrated Urban Development Plan for development poles and growth poles, (2) formulating the list of individual projects to be financed through the Regional Development Agencies, (3) debating the critical elements in plan evaluation, and (4) filling in the project application.

“Politics and Power” course in IHS in Rotterdam:

Within the MSc – urban management and development program, specialization public administration, organized by IHS in Rotterdam, Sorina Racoviceanu and Nicolae Taralunga developed during 15th June – 10th July a module on „Politics and Power”. The module focused on four main chapters, distributed on four weeks:

1. Introduction of concepts, power theories and politics in democratic societies
2. Organisational politics and power and organisational change
3. Decision making process and public choice theory
4. City politics and power
